Default Going to possibly purchase another venge.....

The one I am looking at is a 97 v6 ES.

Doesnt have a sunroof thank god.
Was in a front end accident but everything is back to great shape
only has 60K miles and was well maintaned
Power everything
Everything works
Chrome Wheels with low pros
Dual tip exhaust
Still has the stock sound system in it.
Has the fogs in it also

Think it is work 2800???

Also the steering is really touchy i hear. Is this normal???

Sounds Pretty good. Not sure if your American or Canadian as you said 60K miles. I'm in Canada currently looking around to buy an avenger my self ( first car) Sounds like a good deal to me, however this should go without saying check everything under the hood. Check all fluids, and also try and find out if the timing belt has been changed. From what I've read/been told these are low clearance motors so if the timing belt goes goodbye engine. $2800 sounds like a deal to me. I cant find anything for less then $3000 that doesn't already have large amounts of millage on it. I'd say take it to a mechanic if your not very automotive savvy ( Im like illiterate when it comes to cars) and get them to check it all out for ya.

Good luck!

The guy is my brothers uncle so I know that everything was changed. I test drive it today, has a nice little rumble on it, lots of power, and it is quiet.....like everything from the windows to the tranny shifting. It's in like perfect condition. I think the last person who owned it was old because it was shifting early when i test drove it so I know they weren't hard on it.

And I live in America and I am going to buy this. It even has power seats....lol:P:P:P

60k miles = 60,000 miles

I'd say go for it if i was in your shoes. Im busy for the next 2 weeks, but after that im going to check out a 1998 ES looks mint and its got aprox.61,000 Miles on it ( actually 98,000KM) So its pretty similar to the one your looking at KM wise. Their asking $2650CDN so the price sounds very reasonable. If its as good your making it out to be i'd say go for it! Good Luck!
