Default 97 2.5 ES throttle lag issue...

So I have noticed this a couple times but if I have to rapidly accelerate and mash the gas the car will just sit there for like 2 seconds before it even takes off. I only ever notice this when I am doing this on an uphill incline. Any ideas???

Default nope....

tranny is fine. the rpms dont go up untill it takes off. Im gonna do a tune up once i have the money to do it. I think it may just be old spark plugs just sometimes not sparking well.

umm i honestly think its just a design issue i mean it just dosen't respond very fast its like the spring is too stiff mine does it all the time i mash down on the gas it takes awhile to respond i would try to find a better throtle body
