I purchased a dodge factory rebuilt tranny and torque converter with an 80,000 mile/3 year replacement warranty for $1,500 + $300 2-way shipping from a distributor in Oregon and I reside in NY (they drop ship from a local warehouse) .

I took out the old tranny and put in the new one....I have a lift in my garage but it was still a PITA took me two weekends...one to remove and one to install and I'm pretty good at this stuff. That tranny is really stuffed in their!

BTW, the container it's shipped to you in serves to ship it back to them as a core....price

I had to bring it to the local dealer to flash the PCM (part of the replacement process).

Best thing is the dealer will service the tranny under the warranty. I know cause the solenoid pack went the second week and I brought it in and they diagnosed it and changed out the solenoid pack for nothing under the warranty.

Best $1,800 I ever spent

Good Luck!
