Is it possible to alter the positioning of the a/c unit and where the radio is positioned? I was wanting to know if the radio could be raised while lowering the position of the a/c unit.

 

Yes it's possible I've seen some move the hvac to the center console or the glovebox
You will have to extend the wires and the cabling to move the vents or you can swap to the eclipse canter console to get the double din opening and leave the hvac alone

 

Where can I get the materials for that as far as getting the wires and cable? Is it a long process and can it be a do it yourself?

 

Most used lawn mower throttle cables to extend/ replace the cables, wires extension are pretty self explanitory
