I live in milwaukee wisconsin and from november until now, i used Castrol GTX High Mileage 5w30 because of the extreme cold, it wouldnt be as thick. Its time for another oil change and i have a slight oil leak (about a quart in 3 months) and i was wondering if i should switch to 10w30. My valves do tick pretty bad so would the 5w30 be eaiser to pump and get to the valves? or should i switch to 10w30 because of the leak?

 

i had a 95 sebring with the 2.5 in it and i always ran that same oil except i ran either 10w30 or 10w40 in mine all my leaks cleared up and it ran great even in the nebraska winters
