Default '95 New sound system - Help

First, Hello!

I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right section. But I own a '95 Avenger ES, and I just recently started getting into the sound system. I read some DIY's posts, but none really answered my questions. I know the basics such as the vocabulary of it. I don't live near a Circuit City, or any professional's that can assist me with this.

But anyways, car comes with stock radio, speakers, and infinity amp. My buddy gave me a 600 watt amp (http://www.sonycaraudio.co.nz/sony-xmgtr6040.html) along with two 6x9 rear speakers that are 400 watts. (http://www.audio-discounters.com/ch6930.html) From what I looked up, the stock infinity amp is 12V, along with my new amp. So wouldn't I be able to re-wire the stock wires into an adapter that would fit my new amp? I currently don't wish to have my door speakers working, but when it comes time to replace them, am I able to use the stock wiring? Or does the gauge size matter? My main concern is hooking up the amp, I understand how I can get power (from the existing connection from the infinity amp) but as for it connecting to the radio. I'm researching how todo this, if anybody could steer me in the right direction? Thank you.

NO ... You can not use the stock infinity amp for power ... The stock amp is 180 watts
It's a 6 channel amp ... The power is not near enough to power the 600 watt amp...
http://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.asp You need 4 gauge amp kit and a much larger fuse ect you can use the remote wire from the infinity amp

Since you don't need the power I'd leave the infinity amp wired and use it to power the tweets and the doors
