My 95 avenger, 51000 miles/stored in winter, has all of the sudden given me this problem
Gage-lights do not come on when headlights are on.
The headlights turn, and the raido display dims as it would usually. Durning the day everything works, turnsignals, security, and O/D. At night, the turn signals work, and the security works, but the gages do not light and O/D will not appear either when headlights are on. I checked the fuse for the gages, and it seems to be working fine. I do not have any idea why this is happening...

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

 

I would start by checking grounds and bulbs.
