Default autocross

i thinking about doing autocross this summer and i dont want to beat on my DD so i was thinking of picking up a car and building it up. Do you think i should stay with an avenger and if so should i get the I4 or the V6 and build it. Never driven a manual before, or should i pick up a neon. also should i turbo the I4 or just do a swap like the 2.5-3.0??? thanks guys for your input

It DEPENDS where you autocross ...
Most courses are VERY tight and short radius the Venge turning radius and wheelbase makes for a tough time especially if you are looking at the Nora series in Ohio...
My favorite autocross car is my Dodge Omni GLHS
