Can anyone tell me if parts for a 1996 Avenger ES w/2.5 V-6 are the same as a 1997 of the same model? I am looking for a PARTS MANUAL (PDF FORMAT?). i FOUND ONE FOR 1997-2000 on here and I was wondering if it was useful for my 1996 ....... thanks a lot

I was just looking for general "Knowledge" as I do not need anything now (yet). I have already found a wheel centre hub and a door jam switch ... all the rest on the car is good as it only has 95,000 KM on it (app 57,000 miles). Thanks

 

mainly the auto tranny is different (computer/sensors/ harnesses)

as well as the front bumper/headlights/turn signals (different shape then the 97+)

and back bumper/trunk fascia( plate mount on trunk versus 97+ on bumper)

They show up on ebay all the time I got the service manual and parts for the 98 on ebay for $7.00 shipped
