Default Bad vibration.. Transmission maybe?

Hey guys, got a good one here, this is my 4th Avenger. Still learning something new everyday about these cars. But as mentioned in the past threads I have a strange addiction to these cars. I've got a 2000, (2) 99's... one is my donor car and just sold my 98 due to hail damage.
Getting to the point. The 99 which I just purchased a few weeks ago for my 16 yr old son has a weird vibration at idle and in Drive 1 & 2 and reverse with the wheels straight.. even worse when you turn them to the right sitting still. When you turn the wheels all the way to the left it smooths out and purrs like a kitten. Any thoughts on what is causing this?? Its a V6 with a 170,000. Heres what I know about the car. I bought it from a youngster that was not very mechanically inclined. He said the vibration started after he had the tranny rebuilt or replaced. This is a very annoying vibration that I just have to fix.
Thanks Guys!

I'd check mounts and Axles first

When you say mounts you mean the motor mounts or tranny mounts? Axles?? What about the axles?

Theres an intermediate bearing /axle on one side , it can be bad , Axles check for play

I'd check BOTH motor/tranny mount since it had a rebuild they likely removed both to do the tranny
