Angry Hesitation

Sorry guys, I know this is a dodge forum. We are trying to track down a problem in my daughter's 1996 Sebring LX Coupe. It hesitates around 1500 RPM. No codes, not stalling or idling low, just hesitates when you get to that point. My husband put new wires, plugs, distributor cap, ignition rotor and fuel filter in, all to no avail. I understand from previous searches that you could throw a lot of money/parts at this problem and still never fix it. Anyone have any thoughts? I've searched both the Chrysler and Mitsubishi forums. I wonder if we should just drive it and maybe the CEL will throw a code.

does it just stutter around that RPM and then goes beyond that OK ?
Or doe it not go further ?

Sounds like a possible TPS Throttle Positioning Sensor issue

Just stutters at that RPM, fine the rest of the time.
