Default Problems with Fuel Injectorrr

Hey guys whats going on? Im new to the whole forum thing but ive been having some problems with my 97 DodgeAvenger v6 2.5L.

Lately, my car has been driving increibly rough and has stalled on me once. There is a teribly loud noise coming from under my hood. I have gone to autozone once to get the codes checked up and they came back telling me it was my o2 sensor. Well i didnt understand how that made any sense so i went back again today and they told me it was my fuel injector which makes much more sense. Im planning on getting into the job tomorrow but i was curious if anyone could give me any heads up information on the job. Ive never done it before so it will pretty much be all new. Anything you guys can tell me about the process will be of great appreciation. Thanks. And sorry about it being so late.

What EXACT code are they telling you ?
Is the Check Engine light flashing ?
Normally rougn running is a misfire or multiple cylinder misfire, which is normally spark related , far more then a fuel injector trouble

It ended up being the injector. We change the spark plugs and the fuel filter just to get it out of the way. And yes my check engine liight was flashing. Thank you for the reply. After we changed the injector it was running much better
