Default EGR Block/Bypass?

Could someone maybe (Bad Venge) explain to me how to block or bypass the EGR and vacuum control solenoid transducer on a 99 Avenger 2.5? I understand how to make a gasket out of a aluminium pop can but do I remove the EGR completely or bolt it back on? If not what do I do with the vacuum lines? I have searched many threads but no luck finding the details. Pics would be great.. if not just a detailed explanation.
Thank you.

On the passenger side Rear of the manifold there is a pipe that has two small bolts holding it on. remove this and use the gasket to make a blockoff. If you are planning on permanent use something thicker then a pop can. I used 1/8th inch steel and bought a second gasket so I have gasket/plate/gasket.

I left the EGR intact as I believe the computer still thinks it's working so no check engine light
