Ok so I bought my avenger about a month ago or so. I paid $500 for it because the owner said the transmission was coming out and its a pretty ugly car, needs a lot of paint work. Anyhow. The tranny is doing just fine and the thing runs good. It's a 1997 2.0 Auto. I like the car ok but I have some issues. There is a VERY loud noise coming front the driver side front... I believe it's the axle but when I turn the wheel to the left the noise goes away completely, and if I sit and play with the wheel I hear a popping sound from there. And thats the main issue but it does idle low when sitting still in a driving gear. it only idles at around 400 RPMs when in a driving gear. Thanks to all just hoping for a little help/ I actually plan to sell it soon but I wanna fix some of the bugs.
