o2 sensor location.

I have a cel code for bank 1 sensor 1. My research tells me this is the sensor nearest to the firewall. Am I correct?

I read that as front bank , top sensor , above the cat

I had ordered the firewall sensor before your response. During the valve cover job, I installed the sensor because it was easy to get to. If the cel comes back on, I will install the old one in the front bank.
