transmission swap issue
Hi Guys, I am fairly new to this forum and need some help on a transmission swap problem I'm having and hoping someone on here can help me out. I recently had to replace my transmission in my 98 Avenger. Well I went to the bone yard and picked up a good used one that had only 56,000 miles on it for $300.00. I got it all bolted up and in there. I am having one electrical connector issue I'm having. I'm not quite sure what the connector itself is called so trying to find a replacement pigtail so I can splice into the wire harness is kind of hard at this point. The connector itself is at the drivers side, on top of the pan and has I think 9 pins in it. The problem I'm having is the pin spacing inside the connectors is slightly different. The replacement trans pin spacing is a tad bit closer than the harness itself.
Any help here on this would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, the replacement trans I was told did come out of a 98 Avenger, but at this point I'm not quite sure of that. For some reason I cant seem to figure out on how to post pictures.
