Ok so here's the thing. I have a 98 venge 2.5 v6 es with auto trans that i bought from my best friend for $500. Car runs and drives great. Now here's the booboo. Factory lighter was missing so I went to Autozone and bought an aftermarket one with the illuminated ring on it. I hooked it up and plugged the wire for the ring into the factory light socket for the lighter and when I turned my lights on something popped behind the dash and my instrument panel lights, hvac lights and lights on my console shifter quit working. Everything else still works fine. All the lights that come on when you turn the key on still come on. If I turn the overdrive off the O/D off light comes on on the dash until I turn on my headlights then it goes off. I have checked all the fuses and the are all good. Any ideas to what it could be????
