A friend of mine has a 95 Avenger 4-banger that lost those gears a few days ago. You can shift into those gears sometimes, so I don't think it's an internal tranny problem. I saw a similar problem with a Saturn at this link that was fixed with a clip and was wondering if there is a clip on the clutch cable similar to how this one was solved for cheap without having to tear through the car to replace the entire cable (though it looks like where the cable comes out of the firewall, there's a bunch of stuff that will need to come off grr...). If anyone knows what part I need specifically please let me know, I've had a hard time figuring it out myself.
