This is on a '97 ES 2.5l. I'm wondering what the black box about 6"x6" square about 1.5" thick that's bolted to the fire wall. Right behind where the egr tube runs to the intake. There are two vaccume lines running to the top of it, one comes from the intake the other goes down somewhere. The EGR was replaced before I got the car and they banged this box up pretty good. The plastic is cracked but I can't tell if the plastic is just an outside case that means nothing or what. The car runs completely fine so I don't think it's anything major, it's just got me thinking what it actually is. Thanks, puTTs.
