Default changing antifreeze

Well I am going to change my antifreeze and upper and lower radiator hoses. Is there anything I should know before I change it. I am waiting for the hoses to come in and cause Napa didn't have them in stock. I am going to run some water through and drive it some just to clean it out some. Any other helpful hints would be awesome.

No need to drive it around with water in the system. Just remove the hoses and thermostat, put the hose where the thermostat was and turn on the water and let it flush, do the same for the radiator after you've removed the upper and lower hoses.
