coilovers
Well, IMO, it's not about the car at this point. It's about your driving goal. Is this for autox, closed course, or just spirited driving on the streets? It can go from tight suspension to just an aftermarket setup (just slightly tigher than stock).
Are you sure you even want coilovers? Are you looking to slam the car or just lower it? Are you just trying to stiffen the ride a bit?
Bottom line question...what are your goals with the suspension?
Oh yeah, you could have posted this in your other suspension thread since it's still related to your original question btw. No worries either way though.

Have you considered lowering springs? Eibach has a nice set that will lower your car down to 1.7" or 1.8" plus they settle lower than that and IMO, still looks good with aftermarket rims and you won't have to adjust anything for the winter.
Anyway, coilovers are always more stiff then springs on a non-custom basis. If you don't want to give up the stock ride but still have a lowered stance then I say go with lowering springs. Coilovers aren't as easy to adjust as one might think since there are four corners to balance out both weight balancing and height. Coilovers are more about hitting that curve at a higher speed and being able to balance the weight in that corner whereas the springs are for daily driven cars with mild play on the weekends.
I only state the difference between the two because folks that are new to them think that coilovers are only for slamming a car to the ground...not at all the case and not good at all for the suspension components.
Most of the folks that have lowered their cars with 18s...overall liked the springs better. Plus camber issues are less had.
Plus each time you raise and lower the height, you also have to readjust camber, toe, and alignment...everytime.
Just food for thought.
