I'm looking a buying a 1999 Dodge Avenger that the seller bought on ebay.
I'm wanting to have the car checked out through its vin number, would that be a sufficient way to check it out?
What else should I be looking for? The mileage is around 100,000 but I don't know what it gets mpg.
Any help would be appreciated thx

 

Odd sounds, And drive it hard first time you get it, if anything breaks it will then. What I've always learned.

Ask what work has been done to it, so atleased you can have and idea, Check to see when the timing belt was last changed too.


There's a few other things too besides the odvious, if your not car savy bring someone with you who is, what I usually do when I get a used car.
