How to rewire fog lights!?
Sounds like you have arcing somewhere. I would start with the fog lights then the work my way back to the batter and from the switch to the battery. Yo can take it to a shop or buy 1 of those Wire testing guauges I forgot the proper name form them. You can get 1 at your local auto parts store I'm not sure on the price but i would guess $100. Check for continuity(if I spelled that right) in your wires. But I might be wrong I'll hafta get back to you. But I know this cat that teachers Electrical at a local College so ill hit him up and get back to you on that.
Sounds to me that wires are crossed. You may want to look at the stock wiring on the actual lamps. Also, why do you have two sets of foglamps? That's a large power drain. Anyway, there are some wires crossed, I would start with remove the aftermarket ones and go from there.
Also be sure to check your state laws before you have them on all the time. Some states don't allow fog lights to be on with high beams. I don't know about where you live, but it is illegal in Virginia to have fog lights/driving lights on while high-beams are on. I got a warning for it once.
