Default 97 venge trunk problem help

Hi guys,
I bought a 97 venge BASE used.
Just found the cover of the sparetire compartment cracked so I can't put heavy stuff right above there.
How to fix it or where to have it replaced?
Plz give some ideas..thanks a lot.

I went to home depot and just replaced it with a thicker piece of wood and used different hinges. I used the little black latch to hold it up like stock.
...or you can find a wrecked Avenger/Sebring and swap in a good one.

Honestly, I don't even remember, it's been so long ago, but I don't believe it was a whole lot. You also don't need a big piece of wood either. If you can find the same fiber board that is used in the trunk, that might be easier to match. I have 1/2" MDF and it's too thick IMO, 1/4" would have been good enough, I mean, they do use that flimsy board to begin with, lol.

It was an easy DIY too. Just remember to reuse the latch that hangs onto the trunk lip (to hold it up while you get your spare tire out).

Thanks Sliver...
Excuse for my emptiness, just bought this venge one week ago.
I'll try in home depot.
