Default belt noise plse help!!

Hi I've had my 97 Dodge Avenger for about year and haven't really had any problems with it until now. When I turn the car on it starts to make a high pitch sqeeking noise. I think its the fan belt being too tight does anyone know how to loosen the belt. I'd really appriciate help.
thank you

is it a new belt?...... try to find out if its the friction between the belt n the pulley thats causing the squeak or if its just the pulley.....try belt dressing or a new belt.... could be a bearing in the pulley gone bad....investigate n feed the info back 2 us

It's a new belt but it has been on my car for a month with no trouble. I've also tried to put belt dressing on it the noise didn't stop. How would i stop the pully from making noise if that is the problem?

Our fans are electric fans though, so no belts connected to them, just an electrical plug. Squeeking sounds like the pulleys or maybe just one.
