Default TRANSMISSION TOTALLY BLOWN

Do any of you guys have a link to a break down or rebuild manual for the a604 tranny?
Im probably going to need an new on since it sounds like something is getting chewed up inside of mine, but it has plenty of fluid and is going nowhere. Im going to rebuild it while I drive around on a 500 dollar junkyard one for a while...WOO HOO FUN!!!!!

I don't know of an online breakdown of it. I would, perhaps, suggest a shift kit, higher stall converter, and the newer version of the clutch pack.

Yeah I know this is kinda off topic of what u 2 are talking bout, but what would cause my car to struggle to go into 1st. If I'm slowing down and put it into 1st she'll go right in but if im stopped and shes in neutral then i floor the clutch and put into 1st it usually takes either alot of effort or me to left off the clutch press down again and try the gear once more. Last time this happened I had a leak but I got that all fixed master and slave cylinder replaced and flushed out and she still does it. I'm goin to flush out the trans next if that don't work. Yous got any ideas for a brotha?

So youre double clutching to go into first? Thats not uncommon in older trannies. I would change the fluid and I would use something good like Motul or Amsoil. They will save your tranny for a little while. I will have to wait till I get home to see what part number motul I use in my Z. I will need to rebuild it soon, but it has lived a lot longer by keeping good fluids in it. Royal Purple would work great too, or so Im told. I use it in my diff and motor, but not the tranny (just havent tried it yet, I have nothing against it)

Yeah I'm going Royal Purple to be on the safe side. Im trying to get all the long lasting fluids for my wip. I messed up and got Synthetic oil for the engine instead of the Mobile 1 or Castrol Highmileage stuff. P.S how many quarts of motor oil and tranny fluid does these ladies hold in a 4cly 5speed? I put 4 1/2 cuz my did dip stick is no good. and I think its 9 for the trans. Yeah Yeah I have the owners manual but it said 4 for the motor and another 1/2 or so somewhere else. IDK like 4 in the crank and 1/2 in the heads?

yeah some times im double clutching then other times i stay held on the clutch and if doesn't go i'll try another gear to make sure that the clutch is actually lifting then try 1st again. Its hard to tell cuz b4 when I had the clutch fluid leak she did the would go into any geas nor would start, but I kept pumping her and she work till I hit a light and man I gots sum claves working that clutch pedel lol. Long story short I am trying to stay away from pumping the clutch because thats what started the leak in the first place.
