Default Car Stalling

Need help just bought a 1999 Avenger runs great when I bought it then when breaking the car stalls out for no reason, replaced the fuel pump and filter, same issue someone mentioned a map sensor may be the problem I dont want to spend anymore money then I have already if anyone has any ideas let me know please and if you need more info let me know..

im somewhat starting to have the same problem, it WANTS to stall out when i brake sometimes, but doesnt. could be the start of something i guess.

Check for leaks in your vacuum lines, check for old hoses too.
BGM, it sounds like your brake booster is sucking up too much vacuum or that vacuum is being lost somewhere.
The IAC (idle air controller) may be catching the lowered idle and opening up more to compensate. Then again, the IAC may not be fast enough to react and thus the "almost stall" condition. It sounds to be intake related though.

When I had my idle problems I found the easiest solution was to replace the entire throttle body. It was easier than replacing the individual sensors and took care of the problem. It could also be used as a trouble shooting technique to eliminate the IAC and TPS and is a good time to replace vacuum lines.
