Viper Body Kit
Are you saying the fiberglass of the bumper is covering the latch area? Just cut a notch out of it? Fiberglass is easy to work with, so you can just use an angle grinder or sharp tool to cut a notch to gain access.
Or are you saying something else?

Carbon fiber will crack like fiberglass, urethane is the same material as the stock fascia. Urethane will bend and flex and will only rip if you put a lot of pressure on it. Urethane is more expensive than fiberglass, but it will outlast it if you're lowered or going to be. Carbon fiber, IMO, is a waste of money because that's a lot of money to spend on something that will just crack like the cheaper fiberglass. CF, IMO, is for show cars and not DD cars, again, IMO.
Since you have an aftermarket hood, I assume you have hood pins? If you disconnect the secondary latch, you will definitely need hood pins. Have you ever seen what a hood will do at highway speeds to a windshield? Hood pins are cheap, a new hood and windshield is not

I'm planning to get the viper body kit for my 95 avenger. When I talked to the body shop, he said that side skirts can be attatched in many different ways. (ie: bolts, plastic latch, glue)I would like to know how the viper side skirts are put on. Once I know this I'll be able to get a more accurate estimate.
