2 in two months. im looking to install a new alarm/ start system. the stock one is acting up also. what ideas/ tips/ suggestions do u guys have?

 

I have a python alarm starter with the 2 way remote, and i love the thing, some1 so much as farts next to my car and it'll let me know....i sell them at work so i might be a little biased but yea just get a alarm, maybe a proximity sensor just to stop people from even thinking about it

 

Just know that alarms are meant to deter theft and not stop it. If someone really wants something in your car, they will get it.
With that being said...that sucks!
I'm glad they haven't taken your entire car though. You can purchase a good basic alarm system nowadays. Just don't get the really, really basic alarm like the 3 wire alarms from Radio Shack and the sorts. Get whatever alarm you get installed professionally (meaning, not a hack job, lol). I say that because a buddy will just throw it under the dash where the would be thieves can still see it and disarm it quickly. The pros will usually hide it in the dash and they (some) also make sure that the wiring looks like stock wiring (loomed and routed with the stock wire loom). I say get it done by the pros, it's cheaper than buying new stuff everytime some jerk(s) steal your stuff.
