Default door trim

You know the plastic trim that runs along your doors and the side of your core to protect your paint against idiots in parking lots?

Well... on the passenger side, half of it was ripped off when I got my car... the paint underneath is undamaged I'm pretty sure, I'm just wondering what I should use to remove the glue without ruining the paint... and how to remove the rest of the trim without ruining the paint as well...
