Default F*#$ed tranny

i need a tranny. i blew the differential right through the side of the tranny trying to rock it out of my gf's snowy driveway. a 96 2.5 for those who dont know yet. thanx for any help in advance.

TTT Please. im still without a tranny. can i at least get some oppinons while i work to get my car back on the road? have you guys torn this far into your car yat?

If you got a hole on the tranny, it's time to swap it out with one from a yard or something.

Sounds like an idea. Something along the lines of a higher stall torque converter, a shift kit, maybe an LSD? Those items would pretty much set you up to somewhat bulletproof our tranny (not the one with the hole though, lol).
