Yo is there a way to get pozzi without buyin another tranny? I seen sum trans on Exile that have posi or they allow u 2 send you stuff in and they rebuild it adding pozzi 2 it.

 

You're talking about keeping the wheels from spinning when you're trying to accelerate, correct? You need to have an LSD (limited slip differential) installed. You can have an LSD installed without buying a new tranny. You can have the LSD installed into your current tranny by any competant tranny shop.

 

C I thought that was only 4 the rear drive axles. But yeah I want both tires to spin at the same time.

 

An LSD is for either. I have an LSD on my rear differential and I can get one for the front too if I wanted one, but I don't really need it since any front wheel spin or slip is caught by the viscous coupler and sent to the rear wheels. An LSD is mainly used to keep your wheels from spinning though...at least on lower hp cars. With high horsepower, there's not really much to keep you from spinning anyhow except maybe slicks.

 

I never really cared till I tried to run this co-worker over (he thoought it would be cool to joyride in my wip infront of his girlfriend)and there was 1 black line on the ground from my tire spinning. I told my manager it was a dude on a bike. But when I saw that 1 tire mark it my handling questions where answered. I.E My friend back her car over a snow back so the passenger side trie wuz on sno and the driver was on tar and guess which one was spinning.[:'(]. But yeah I also need to rotate my tires too, it rains too much in TX 4 slicks and they are too temping to race with. TX weather is odd anyways compared to the north its Dec and Im still rocking a white T and Jeans like its spring.

 

An LSD is supposed to put power to the wheel that isn't slipping. Having 4 worn down tires don't help with traction either, lol.

Hey, what's wrong with wearing jeans and a white t-shirt? I do it all the time, even when I lived in an area with snow (granted I wore a jacket too, lol). I find it more comfortable than anything else really, except shorts and a white t-shirt, lol.

 

Yeah thats y I want it! I want to keep both tires moving simultaneously. Also helps my tires wear evenly in the front. The word "Pozzi" is short for Positive traction (sum northener word I guess) when I step on the gas both tires spin proppellin the car forward at a straight angle. Also with my friends Integra when he raced he had to cut the wheel to the right to compensate for the unbalanced torque in each tire.

Also what do u mean bout havin 4 worn down tires I never said I did, if u talkin in general then thats common sense.

Ain't nuttin wrong with wearin a white T and jeans its just this my first winter here and I am still use to being cold at this time in the year. I don't see how ppl don't get sick down here cuz it b mad cold in the morning then gets hot around noon till late at night. Then the rain down here is stupid! Come on I never seen it rain so much in my life since I moved hear I thought bout parkin my car on the highway just so she won't drown cuz it rained all day hard 4 two or three days straight. Sounded like ppl throwin buckets of water on the ground.
