stereo wiring
Hey Buck, first off, welcome to DF
..and no, the factory amp won't hurt or deny you the pleasure of your pure musical bliss
Assuming that you use an aftermarket wiring harness that is or even wire up the radio correctly. Also, note that there isn't a ground wire connected to the stock wiring harness, so you will have to "make your own". In other words, the ground wire will have to be seperate from the wiring harness.

I know this is a dumb question but whats the order of which to get a new sound system. Pappi is saying new amp speakers then stereo, Im sayin new stereo, amp then speakers. I want to get new sound for myCivic but I don't want to blow my old speakers with a new stereo and amp, or drain my battery with new speakers.
