I have a 1996 dodge avenger. 2.0L 5speed. While i was away at bootcamp something happened to it. The car will start but as soon as you let off the clutch it makes a knocking noise coming from the front of the car under the motor. When you put it in gear it does the same thing. Does anyone have any idea on what it could be????

 

I would check your fluid in the tranny first.
