Ok guys outta the blue last night i was driving to a cuzins house when i heard a horrid rubbing sound couldent figure out what it was so i pulled over and i lookoed at my rear tire passenger side. it looks to be that my tire it starting to rub the arm the is at the top of the tire going down.. what is this arm called????? it comes from the top a-arm? or something and goes down.. what goes bad in the rear that i should proly change..? i let some air outta my tire about 5 pounds and drove away the nosie stoped. kinda weird and dont know what it is please help....
HAHAHA Man what the Heck was i on? That didnt even sound right to me after reading it... Ok let me try this again.
The other day, i was driving and i noticed a sorda rubing noise from the rear of my car on the passenger side... So i pulled over and looked on the top of the tire and the arm that goes straight down from the top control arm is rubbing my tire. I let a little air outta my tire and drove off.. Now there is now noise while just driving straight but when i turn to the left it rubbs.?? hope this makes more sense if need more info just let me know...

My '95 did that, The rubbing that you might be hearing is from a bad wheel bearing. I changed mine and no more noise and no more rubbing. Jack it up and see if you can wiggle your wheel back and forth. if you do it yourself its not too bad, just remember that the rear disc brakes have a integral parking brake on the inside, just remember how it goes back together. And you can buy the bearing, the whole rear hub/bearing comes as an assembly, wich makes it alot easier to change. Hope this works for ya.

This is just a semi guess on my part,I think withtaking out some air its actually letting the tire do most of the flexing instead of the wheel bearing. And when mine went bad the only time I really noticed it was when I made left hand turns. Let me know if thats what it is.
yea see i do only hear it when i turn left not right only left and when the tire has around 40 psi in it. It kinda looks like it is rubbing the bar the i was talking about does anyone know what the name of that bar is??? I will be checking the tire and stuff today to see what i can figure out.
