If i put it in my chambers how do i get it out?? like a little turkey baster thing?? and how much could be left in there?? just wandering if its worth doing all that work thats all. i wanna change my plugs out anyway so i figure i could try this... what do you mean chambers? If you mean by removing you sparkplugs, then pouring seafoam down the sparkplug "chambers" and reinstalling your plugs. I would think just cranking you engine would get it out. Just a recommendation, pour it in your brake booster vacuum hose, reconnect hose, and start vehicle till the smoke is gone. Good luck!

yea i mean the spot where the plugs go. I read it on the another question that silver replied too he had a link for sum info on it and the guy said he pourd it in to his chambers and let sit for 18 hours then cranked and cranked with the plugs out then put plugs in and started her. my question is how much in each one??? and how i should put it in, with aspray bottle or pour it in.. thanx

easiest way to do it is to just put it through the throttle body. i have a cold air intake so i just took the filter off and turned the pipe upwards, with the engine warm [and off mind you] i poured about half a bottle in down through my intake pipe and pressed open the throttle body, let it flow in, and let it sit for about 20 minutes. cranked her up, idled for a minute, then revved at 3k rpm till my exhaust had no smoke =]
any further need for explanation?

Well, pouring it directly into the piston chambers allows seafoam to do it's thing with the carbon buildup directly on the walls. When you have it sucked up, the motor also immediately gets rid of it. Allowing it to sit for a day does a lot of cleaning and the seafoam will seap into down and eat up and loosen anything in it's path. Letting it sit also allows it to leave the chambers so that you don't get hydrolocked. Speaking of hydrolocking, you really have to be careful when putting it down the intake like that, granted everything turned out fine, but if the you hydrolock because of seafoam (which it can), you're screwed. That's why you pinch the hose that goes into the bottle, so that you can control the intake's suction. Anyway, once the car has sat for a day and you crank it to clear any left over seafoam out through the spark plug holes, you will get definite ignition as you would if there was nothing in there to begin with. A note to that is, that you will have to change your oil soon after, I would say after the smoke has pretty much cleared. Why? Because you will have bits and pieces floating around your oil and clogging the oil filter and if you've got a cheap filter like FRAM, some of the bits will/may pass through and clog something. You can use cheap oil and a cheap filter until you're sure the seafoam has cleared out of the motor though. Then go back to say....Mobil1
After that is all said and done, if done correctly and if you open up your motor, it will be pretty "clean". The motor should act like new again.....with bigger gaps in the rings and other places, lol....come on it's an old motor, lol. She will purr again though.
I bought my car new and I remember doing this to mine and my car was alive again..granted, it was only awaken as much as our slow poke motors will awaken, lol. I did an entire bottle through the intake and I believe half through the gas tank. I don't know how much the one through the tank helped and I rarely mention it because of that (I've done that before, just the tank and I couldn't feel anything different). Through the intake did more according to my butt dyno, but, if you're going to pour it down the chambers, you might as well go the whole route
