02 Sensor
It depends on which one you broke, if it's the one at the very front and the first one just after the exhaust manifold, then that is what affects the fuel milage and more importantly will affect if the motor runs lean or rich. No you can't bypass that, the motor needs that since it's a needed sensor.
If it's the downstream or the ones closer to the cat, it will affect just the milage because it tells the computer if the cat is clogged or not.
That is a VERY general description btw, since I don't know what motor you have and year (they change some things around in the later years).
In the end, your car will either eat up gas or have bad milage or both...not to mention it will run like poop.

yea your check engine light will go on and my car idled funny for a while..... i got a universal o2 sensor and it was junk unless i hooked it up worng, then i did get one from a junk yard 4 couple of bucks and engine light went off........ but either or i would reccomend the one for your car i have the 2.0 model but thats just me
Oh ok, well, you should get a CEL light which will let you know that part of your emmissions components isn't working. Chances are, it'll be about the cat and how it's "not working", lol.
