Default Spoiler, any ideas??

All right, everyone knows that the stock spoilers on these things aren't all that great, aint much of a spoiler at all actually, so i was wonderin if anyone knows of a place or has a black one, or any kind i guess that would work for the my car.

Plus maybe a how to on how to attach the thing myself would be great.
Websites of availability would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

what do you mean arent all that great, a spoiler is supposed to create downforce on the rear end of a vehicle, the only cars that really need a big spoiler are ones with RWD, our front wheel drive avenger doesnt need a spoiler besides for looks, so if your looking for a huge metal spoiler for your car because your trying to go faster, you have the wrong idea!

Technically a spoiler isn't designed to create downforce, just reduce lift and improve aerodynamics. So considering the propper definition of a spoiler, the stock ones are just fine.

If you are looking for downforce because in super high speed manuvers, the rear of your car keeps sliding out then you may want to consider an extreme-park-bench-wing made of carbon fiber or aluminum. Of course to be traveling fast enough to need that downforce on the rear, you must havealready increased the downforce in the front, you no doubt have huge aftermarket brakes to deal with the serious heat buildup from racing, and you probably have a serious suspension set up for highspeed use.

In otherwords, you probably don't need it.

Um, but to answer your question about where to buy big black gaudy wings, try ebay. You just drill holes inyour trunk lid and bolt em on. The next owner of your car won't be able to thank you enough.

Then you'll be all set up for NAWSS!!

Danger to teh manifold!!!1!1!!

:-P j/k!

Did you know that the 2G Eclipse spoiler will fit on our cars too? The bigger curved one, sometimes called the "turbo spoiler".
I'm not a big fan of spoilers. I once told my wife that I wanted to take off mine and she said that it would "look" too plain and that it looks "sporty" with it on. It does look sporty though, lol.

As for where to find them, in the sticky section, there's a list of resources for our cars that range from interior to exterior. Here's the link.. https://dodgeforum.com/m_479686/tm.htm

Lol, calm down guys....I'm not interested in one of the G-Unit tank spoilers. Heh, i was just looking for a slightly better look. Nothing real flashy or big, i cant stand the great big ones. I just wanted one that was a little different from the rest but didnt bug out anything in the forces and what not.

I was just looking for a different look, Something maybe an inch up, just a little bit bigger. But n/m.

Thanx anyway guys.

Have you seen the 95-96 spoilers? They are bolted up about an inch or two, compared to our "integrated" spoiler. There are different variations of our 1GA spoilers (97-00 are 1GBs)...or 1st generation version A and 1st generation version B....now that there's a 2nd gen Avenger...the name lives on!!!! lol. too much caffeine, sorry.

i have had my eye on this one. i liked my stock one but hated not being able to get my hands under it to clean or wax. just a bit more aggresive, i think, without being ricelike.

lol....uh... just the three and a half. my first fell prey to Dunlops that were bald (as in, past the wear indicators - baby's butt smooth) at 12,000 miles. in an Ohio February, she ate a hill. did more to the hill than to herself. i put another 20k on her, after switching to BFG's. she's still here and i plan to get her fixed, too much sentiment there to let her rest. i managed to pick up a 8k mile 96 es on ebay last July for my gf. got the boy a 97 for Christmas. then i wanted a manual for myself. Avenger's are terrible things when they can take away the zest of a Charger.
