when i start my car it has a real funny idel like it wants to die but it dont and when i go to take off from a stoped postion it studders. like boggs down. if i let off the gas is go's but when i push th egas again it boggs down. it dont do it every time just most of the time. its the 2.slow auto. and when the car is running there is a strong gas smell when you out side the car. if i hold my foot one that gas at a stop sign and go to take off it dont do it.umm i replaced fuel pump and ran some sea foam through it.

When was the last time you changed the plugs and wires? I would start from the tune up side first. A gas smell can indicate a poor burn or a rich condition. Do you happen to have the CEL on?

Make sure the plugs are gapped correctly.

I recently had that problem again. I had to chang my PCV hose and the vaccum line off my throttle body. If is not the air, fuel, nor spark check ur vaccum lines dont' ask me where they are tho.

PCV valve is circled for a V6 obviously...so, I hope that's what you have too, lol.
