Default Defrost and Radio

Hey Silver I got a good one for you? With the radio on only AM/FM and the rear defrost on there is a painful screaming noise out of my speakers. Any ideas on how to figure out whats goin on and where?

Sounds like crossed wires. Do you have an aftermarket radio and/or amp?

Yup, it could also be a bad ground. I wasn't sure if he had aftermarket items though.
The place I used for a ground was the seat belt bolt...actually, anywhere, lol. The best thing you can do to make sure any ground is good is to sand off the paint and use a conductive screw or bolt and not the black screws. Also use the correct gauge ground wire.

Does it do it with the engine off? My fogs are transfering alternator noise to my stereo somehow, guess I need to check the ground on them.
