If you get a Metra dash kit, it will have everything that you'll need. You don't use that metal cage either.

Hey try this site out i am not sure if it has the right one you are talking about but maybe our buddy silver can tell us the part number lol.. or just maybe tell us wich one it is because i am in the fix for a eclipse console i want one bad lol, after you get it all finished up maybe you caould get us a list of EVERYTHING you need in order to do the whole thing....

yup i sure will so far i got the center console kick panels on both side and now all i think i need is radio bezel and the radio kit part and i think thats it

It's this one

Either 99-7006, which is the one above or

The 99-7001. This one, as you can see, will need to be put together.

I think the Bosche(?) kits at WalMart even have the same last 4 numbers as the Metra kits, so it'll make it easier to find.


Here's a Crutchfield kit.

I like the stock radio bracket and stock bottom storage tray. The stock tray is a full din size where the trays like the ones above are a 1/2 to 3/4 (Crutchfield kit) din. I don't know where they lost the other half or 1/4, but you won't be able to fit your hand in them, lol.

Yup, the first one is the easiest because there's nothing to assemble, lol. But, good luck finding one, they are probably the least available. I tried myself with no luck, everyone had the last two. I settled with the Wally brand Bosche until my stock one came in.

hi im new to the forum and just bought a smashed up 1998 avenger automatic to fix up. What year eclipse console works with this? im thinking 95-98
