Take a look at your brake pads and how high does your e-brake go? Chances are, you just need to do some brake work. I wouldn't fill up your brake fluid either. If it's low, it can indicate a leak or low brake pads. If you system is pretty tight, I would say that the pads are just worn.
I've noticed my ABS light come on because of the e-brake pads needing changed. Remember, just because it's your Antilock Brake System light, it doesn't mean that it's not your braking system that causing it.

ok and truthfully i did notice a squealing noise going back to college it was squealing on and off and when it was squealing i taped the brake it stopped then today i saw the light maby that will help u diagnose it a little more
