v-6 manual IT CAN BE DONE !!!
i recently went to my local dodge dealership and talked to a guy at the parts department and asked him if there was a manual tranny for the 2.5 avenger and he said indeed there was it is a chrysler performance transmission and he said that it was just over $3000 new.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET ONE A LITTLE CHEAPER???????

WHAT NO WAY!!!! wow i could just imagine a nice manual with about 20 psi turbo set up lol that would be so nice.. anyways if you hear anything else let us know...

yeah, yeah... get a part number. my local parts guy said "there was an AWD turbo avenger available from the factory, just like the eclipse. and... wow would they fly!" ask silver why he didn't just get one of those.
- MoPar has routinely disavowed our cars. if anything performance related is available, it is through Mitsu. i would like to believe it, but i haven't seen it, and, sorry to say, parts guys are often full of it.

I don't even think MOPAR would touch our cars since there's Mitsubishi genes in them.
This is one of those gotta see it to believe it. If Steve and his team at ERT couldn't make one work during the few years of R&D, I can't see DCX doing it for the 1G Avenger after stopping production on them. There's still the issue of relocating that CPS.
