Default Side Moldings Suck

For those of you who have taken off your side moldings...what did you do about all the holes going down the sides? i took mine off (BROKE them off myself) and from a distance the car looks a lot better (to me). I could probly make it look good if i could get some kind of backing behind the holes, so i can put on some filler then use touch up paint an stuff......buuuuut i cant figure out what to do. help! plz!

thanx

Most folks with the 97+ cars have the holes welded shut, then repainted. Unless, you're really good with touch up paint, the inconsistencies will show up. Man, you should have asked before you took them off bro.

Yea... most cars have holes behind the molding... it sucks... My integra was worse to shave tho... it had a huge gap where the side molding was... Your best bet is having a metal filler welded in, I've seen some of my friends try to use cardboard and bondo... lol... and all it did was warp from moisture.
