The other day i stopped by my local gas station to fill up, pulled the fuel door level in my car, and to much surprise found that the door did not open. Tried again for many times and prying it open to no avail. Then tried it once last time and it poppped open fine. I tried it again just to make sure it still works and nothing. Any fix to opening up the fuel door except the old flat head screwdriver? Is there a release in the trunk anywhere like in some other cars?

sounds like the spring is missing or bent ... it "pops" the door open when you pull the release ... have someone pull the release and pull the door open gently then look on the hinge side there is a little black spring clip that pops the door missing replace bent try to pry it out some till it works ...
