Default well, looks like dakota is a project truck...

last night i did the unthinkable. i bought a 92 ranger (4cyl 5speed). i almost feel guilty, but it is a nice truck. previous owner was a mechanic, and literally replaced everything before i got it. $800 and runs like a champ. i still favor the dakota, and no doubt, if its up to me i WILL make it a beast. just letting everyone know

good choice on getting a second vehicle for when you work on your truck. i only have my truck and it was a pita trying to do the trans swap and trying to rely on the family to get to and from work and such.

So what are your plans for the truck? Large engine? Large tires?

For the Dakota, i'm putting in a 318. I want to do beef up the suspension, put some lift, and 33's. I wouldn't mind a working radio either hopefully my gramps doesn't decide to sell it, Ive already put bucket seats in it. They were fun, I had to make a custom steel mount. They're a lot better than the 60/40 seat!
