Default 89 dakota antifreez leak on head

My son has an 89 dakota sport w/3.9 V6 automatic,on the head where the intake meets the head is a water journal that is just an open space where antifreeze is coming out the intake gasket doesnt seal seal it.

What can he do?
any feed back would be helpfull.
Thanks

The gasket is blown, or improperly installed or the intake or the head is cracked/chipped or warped. Try replacing the gasket first.

Gasket only covers 3/4 of the hole just under the EGR valve that bolts to the intake on the right as you are looking at it

There should be a bead of sealant in each of the 4 corners of the intake.
