Put my cd player into the truck last weekend, but the speakers suck a** anyone else have this happen. Going to switch them out asap lol.

 

yep mine sucked too.. I changed mine out and put pioneers in it. 6 1/2's in the front doors and a 6x9 on one side of the back and a 5x7 in the piller on the other side.

 

Ya any stock system sucks. Don't forget the system and speakers are 15 years old. Think how bad the computers ect are from 1995, would you use them now days?

Go to Walmart and upgrade for cheep with WAY better quality. If you needed to know the fronts are 5.25in round and the rears are 6x7 oval.

Yeah I forgot about that. Wal-mart was actually my first place for the speakers, cheap but good sound. Don't plan on listening to the stereo all the time anyhow.

 

Hey! I still have our old 95, its got some good games on it that id play if it wasnt in my closet, and we used that system as the main computer up to around 2003 or so, and we used a 98 up until 2007 when it litterly blew something up in the electrical box, we'd still be usin that one to if it didnt blow up, so yes i would use them now a days!

and talkin about speakers i know what ya mean by saying that they suck but mine arnt to bad if there original (1987),though with the newer stereo they dont put out the best quality sound but to tell ya the truth i really dont give a ****
