I believe theres actually a build thread going right now of someone merging a Chevy and first gen dakota.

Kind of a cool project if you ask me.

X2, but sometimes I get overzealous as well.

As far as the vehicle, I personally do not see any issue of branded parts being used. Especially since I have Corvette springs, retainers, and locks in my Mopar heads. The only time I see purity as an issue, is when the vehicles nature is considered rare. To clarify, my Dak vert is not so rare compared to classic mopars. The plus side of GM inundating the market with parts, is only good for the cheap minded individuals that require them for their builds. There's a reason for the excessive use of the 350 4 bolt in race cars.
