If you have a hitch on the back adapt something to it or a ball mount.

Yes for $100 you can buy a pole that attaches right into a 2" receiver (or you could fab up your own) I just wanted mine in the bed though.

I got the answer for you. I bought a 6' section of 1/2" pipe from Home Depot and a 1/4" hitch pin and 2 cotter pin clips (reusable kind) and some fender washers. I drilled a hole through the rod at the right height for the screw hole in the stake slot. Put on the pin with a fender washer so it cant pull through, take a fender washer and make it nearly a semi washer (almost 1/2 without cutting into the inner circle) and put that on the other side. Pin it in place. Then I added 2 more washers and added a second pin to "double pin it" and used a cut up broom handle one either side of the pole in the stake slot as spacers so it won't wobble. It's REALLY sturdy. Done 65-70 with it with a 3'x5' flag hose clamped on the pole. I'll try to get pics.
I don't know how permanant this is going to be, I may do something a little sturdier. I mean at 60 this thing doesn't even quiver really, but I think I want to overbuild this.

Now remove the first clip and 2 washers and you reveal the second clip and the "half moon" modified washer.

Here is the "hitch pin" assembled as it would be on the truck. In the large gap would be the pole.

Here are the wood pieces wedged into the stake hole to hold it in place. (One is sorta hiding behind the flag)

Here is what it looks like.

Don't know if there's an Ace Hardware where you live but they have drawers and drawers of those pins and everything else listed above. Any hardware store really would have what you need I would think.

^What he said. Thats from home depot. And no holes were drilled in the truck. These go through the stake mount hole. (There is a small hole in the stake slot.)

any idea what size that pin is and i cant tell what the hose clamp is being used for or is that just to hold the flag to the pole?
